You order at the counter and you pickup your food to either at the counter to eat inside or take home. Food is good and priced well. I had the combo fish taco and shrimp burrito. My wife had the three tacos each one being different. We took out food back to our RV so cannot comment on the dining... More

This is my 3rd visit to this location and I'm extremely disappointed. It's dirty even though are few people here (it's 1 pm on a Saturday). There is food left on empty tables, dirty plates on top of the trash can, cobwebs on the outdoor patio and the smell of cleaning chemicals upon entering. I had a hair on my... More

Have been going to Rubio's for well almost 30 years and this location for maybe 10, the chain has reinvented itself maybe 4 or 5 times. The recent upscale remake kinda leaves me cold. The dishes are pretty good, but have gotten to a price point that doesn't make sense unless it is a sit down restaurant. I understand they... More

Excellent fish....no matter how ordered. Place your order at the counter, delivered to your table. Fresh, well cooked, great taste. BUT i'm allergic to cilantro so navigating almost any restaurant in CA is a challenge. Praying this trend will stop soon.

Rubio's restaurants food items are OVER PRICED. Okay food. Portions are small. The only good there is their salsa. They have silverware. No plastic forks, spoons and knives. I disagree with this option.

LOVE the fish tacos! Love the Nachos! Love the California Bowl! Having said that, the California bowl has shrunk where it looks tiny in the big bowl. Nachos have less toppings now. Again, tasty but not overly filling!

One of my favorite places! I have been eating at Rubios since they first came across the border to San Diego. If we head west or south we know where they all are! I highly recommend the gourmet shrimp tacos. Yummy

Love their food at Rubio's. I love trying all the special creations, especially the salmon tacos and burritos, but on this last trip, I went back to the original 2 fish taco plate with battered fish, chips and beans. We like that they have different salsa offerings, my wife likes the hot salsa, I like the fire roasted salsa. The... More

Rubios exceeded my expectations. Both their soup and fish tacos were very good. Tasted better than fast-food.

I come here for one item and one item only the fish burrito. I add extra white sauce and it is perfect every single time. The fish is crunchy the sauce is delicious and the combination of ingredients are perfect together. I love their red sauce on the side. Yum!
