We all left dinner extremely satisfied and full. Great steaks and salmon. Delicious side dishes to compliment. Friendly and helpful staff. Our favorite place for special dinner out!

We didn't have a reservation, but they accommodated us anyway. We were seated at one of the big lake/highway side booths in time to watch the sunset. My husband loves prime rib, so he got the big cut and really enjoyed it. We ordered the...More

We made a day trip to Tahoe while visiting Reno for Softball. We waited at the beach over an hour after we were done with our activities just to eat at this restaurant on the lake. We did not have a reservation so they stuck...More

Not fancy. Booths with dark wooden tablecloths, metal plates with steak and potatoes. But my Ribeye was very good, perfectly cooked, the garlic mashed were great, my Gimlet was great and came in a chilled glass, and our waitress was really wonderful. Prices were up...More

My family of 4 were very excited to try this place. Great ambiance. Two of us ordered steaks and they were great! One ordered double breast chicken dish that was also very good. Unfortunately, I ordered ribs. They were definitely NOT falling off the bone....More

We got rib eye steak and prime rib. Both were fantastic. Juicy and perfectly seasoned. Interior is old lake with lots of wood and beams. We took half our dinner home and had it the next night for dinner!

This place has been around forever and still serves the best steak in Tahoe. Tacky decorations from years gone by have survived to make the place feel like an old ranch house. The food was piping hot and delicious.

If you go try get reservation. I just called in and young man who took my take out order went out of his way for me. I got one of their Specials. Ton of food. Tasted great. Cooked well.

Classic old fashioned steak house. We both had the petit fillet. My husband had an early-bird meal that included a shrimp cocktail. We both had house salads that were very basic and a little too heavy on the lettuce. Steaks came with a mushroom wine...More

Ask for window booth with view of Lake Tahoe at sunset. Order one of the several specials: shrimp cocktail, choice of two salads, about 8 meat and fish entrees. Choose your own bottle of wine from the Wine Wall (no wine list) or get a...More

Sorry. I just saw your request. I don't know if it was or wasn't. If you are in Lake Tahoe during the holidays, Lone Eagle at the Hyatt in Incline Village is always open during the holidays. It is a great place for drinks... More
