They over charged us we had 4 adults and 2 kids. And they charged us over 100.00 dollars. No way would i ever go back. The food wasn't worth the money.

Busy restaurant. Most customers were getting the buffet. I ordered egg foo young which tasted as if it were fried too much. Husband got a combo plate which was a huge serving. But his sweet and sour pork was more fried coating than pork. Nice...service, friendly. Extensive menu. The buffet was a good value, but we were not that hungry. Very reasonable prices, but food not that good.More
The China Garden Restaurant is a local establishment that has been in business for over 30 years. The food was above average, but the menu offerings were a bit confusing. For example, they only offered egg drop soup as an individual serving. In addition, individual...rice servings were not included with the entree. Other than the menu issues, we did enjoy our meal and the hostess/waiter/wife/owner was very kind and helpful. We particularly recommend their special fried rice.More
great buffet, complete menu. Typical friendly staff and environment. Good stuff. They also had wine and beer
I have went here to eat on and off years. The food does taste good. The food is pretty consistent, but not always warm on the buffet. The wait staff needs a lesson is making a person feel welcome. Other than the wait staff i...would recommend this Chinese food.More
I stopped here for lunch and was disappointed on almost every level. First, there was no indicator that lunch was buffet only or at least my server didn't give me the option of ordering off the menu. Had I known it was a buffet, I...would have looked at their meager offering and gone somewhere else. The food was bland, overcooked and pretty much undesirable. Their bathrooms look like the owners hardly ever go in there with graffiti all over and not well kept in general. For lunch time, it was a bit on the pricey side, too, especially given the quality of the food. Hopefully dinner is better, but I probably wouldn't risk it again. Service was decent, but she didn't come around often enough for my likes.More
I have been eating here for years and they have been consistently excellent. This one of the best buffets in the area and their prices are very reasonable.
Food is hot and not over cooked like a lot of buffets. Vegetables still have some color to them. Lots of flavor.
The restaurant is an OK Chinese restaurant. I am not impressed with their food. I am not familiar with this area. I cannot offer alternative recommendations. I actually will recommend to try a non-Chinese restaurant instead of China Garden.
Travelling through central California, needed a meal and this place had good reviews. Ordered Vegetable Lo Mein and Schezuan Tofu, expressly stating that the were not to contain any animal products, and restating clearly that there should be no egg or meat in either dish....Have ordered this combo coast to coast and never gone wrong for my dietary preference, so we paid and moved on. Back at the hotel, we open cartons to find a huge piece of meat atop the tofu. With that major faux pas, was unsure of what type of broth (vegetable, chicken or ??) had been used, could not eat the food. Can't afford to spend a day sick from questionable food when travelling. Hungry and tired, we ate the greasy, poorly seasoned noodles with no protein. Really disappointed.More
Very friendly and helpful staff. Food is very good and delicious. They have a large buffet with many hot and cold chooses. Large banquet room. Reasonable prices. The only possible critique would be, the food off the menu is better than the buffet. But this...is true of most restaurants.More
And if it wasn't for Cho's Chow Mein and certain faves of mine that China Garden doesn't offer, I'd switch restaurants. China Garden has the Best Pot Stickers and deep Fried Calamari and the Scallops are Amazing!
