We went to The Galley as many times before. First, and huge turn off is we had made reservations via Open Table. They had no record of it and said the sight had crashed . No it had not. We were seated in the outdoor...More

This restaurant served an excellent rib eye steak My salmon filet was also tasty. The casual atmosphere makes you feel like you are taking a journey back in the past. I liked the pinup photos in the men's bathroom. Our cocktails were also good.
Go while it's still there; a local's favorite. Age bracket ranges from 20-something hipster locals & "Silicon Beach" types to the usual go-to joint for retired successful entertainment industry folks. We always reserve ahead (Open Table) and come early for dinner hour so can get...More
I first dined here 30 years ago and had an opportunity recently to return. It has been there since 1934, and is justifiably regarded as an institution. It was every bit as good as it was 30 years ago. Great steaks, seafood and libations. We...More

This was a return to trip to the area for us and we wanted to make sure we visited this restaurant. Food is excellent and so is the service and value. We were not disappointed.
One of the coziest restaurants I've been to, both the steaks and the shrimps are great, and so are the drinks. They have really set the bar high for a sea/tiki themed restaurant.
Do not make reservation thru Open Table for this restaurant, they WILL NOT honor them. Hostess completely unhelpful, did jot make any difference when I showed her our reservation confirmation. Sat us outside on a cold winter night even though several tables opened up inside...More
