I was travelling america alone, and the staff here seated me with a view overlooking Santa Monica pier and beach. They were very pleasant, and I'm not used to tipping in England and felt obliged to do it in america whether I wanted to or not but here I most certainly wanted too. They couldn't of done enough to make... More

All I wanted to do was - sit in the sunshine, enjoy a cocktail, and enjoy the beauty of Santa Monica beach and ocean. Sadly the grumpy staff burst my bubble. Admittedly when we arrived at the Mariasol the only table available outside was by the restaurant wall, however when a beach side table became free, and I politely asked... More

I walked to this restaurant in the rain for dinner. When I got there, patrons were seated at the bar and tables. The door was locked so I got the attention of the hostess who wouldn't let me in. They were closed because it was raining! Ridiculous. Won't go back.

This was great Mexican food in a world class location. If you like clam chowder don't miss it at Mariasol's it is some of the best I have ever had and served in a huge bowl.

My husband n 13 yo boy visited here for dinner without reservations. My child didn't think he'd like anything on the menu. All staff were so welcoming n helpful. We could've ordered far too much food but our waiter talked us out of too much food n seemed to know exactly how much we needed. My husband ordered the clam... More

I like to go here every time we go to Santa Monica, 2 or 3 times a year. It was beautiful this time. The weather was sunny, just the right temperature, and we sat at the end of the pier, enclosed in glass, with a beautiful view of the ocean and the palisades to the north. It couldn't have been... My friend & I had lunch here & a drink at the bar. The service in both places was excellent, as well as the food. Being that it was lunch, my friend & I split a meal, the Santa Monica Enchilada with black beans. We were glad we did, as it was quite large. It was delicious & no problem... More

This was our second time here and once again, it was terrific!! Alejandro was our server and took great care of us. He had great recommendations and was very attentive. Our drinks were wonderful and refreshing. We ordered the table side guac as our starter. To die for..... Our lunches were all very flavorful and a nice portion. We will... More

This restaurant is at the end of the pier. You can eat inside or out, with heat on the outside. The guacamole was great, as was the sangria and bloody marys. We enjoyed our time here. Just beware of the supposedly free photographs being peddled.

My wife, our infant, and I were visiting the pier and dropped in for lunch. We started off with margaritas. Mine was a specialty one "Heat of Passion" or something- it was about half the size as my wife's "regular" mango as you can see in the photo. It was good but the size was disappointing. They made our guacamole... More

Visitors enjoy the vivacious colors of the patios and the decor of a true Baja Cantina. Mariasol's use of distinctive sauces, flavorful peppers and fresh fish make this cuisine a favorite among food lovers. Lunch and dinner are served daily.
