After walking down the Santa Monica pier we were thirsty so just before leaving the pier we tried Soda Jerks. I had a Coke and enjoyed it. They offered a variety of other items such as sorbet and ice cream as well.

Good old time Ice Cream soda. It has been a long since since I tried a great Ice Cream Soda , fountain style !
They make the best vanilla milkshake in the world! My husband loves the root beer floats. And my son loves a good strawberry soda. They do it right! But they do have some odd hours so check the web before you go or you might...More
Had the best banana split at Soda Jerks. The homemade Vanilla Coke was damned good too. It's the quintessential soda shop with all the things that remind you of childhood. Definitely a must on a nice, sunny day at the pier.

These guys, tucked in next to the carousel, are the hardest working soda mongers I've ever seen. They're dressed as old-time soda jerks and are hopping around making great libations and treats. If you're on Santa Monica Pier, don't pass by without checking them out.
These jerks really know their soda and treats. Reminds me of Ice Cream Pop Shops back in the good ol' days. I definitely recommend the ice cream. Go try it if you're in the area. You won't regret it.
I had to try the Graveyard Shake, it was good. Pretty much a coffee/ espresso shake. My stepdad had the orange freeze, also yummy. small little throwback at the pier and very fun.
Good Ice Cream and reasonable prices. Not much more to say. If you are in the area I would highly recommend you getting a scoop or two or three.
