Unpretentious restaurant featuring good food, good service and good prices in an easy going laid back setting. The whole rotisserie chicken is particularly good value. Open seven days a week and most holidays too!

Casual, friendly neighborhood restaurant. Has a good variety of reasonable priced entrees. There combination plates - salad, hummus, main dish are plentiful. Bread with olive oil/vinegar also offered. Restaurant site on Wilshire a bit more formal.

Went to Z Garden after reviewing the reviews - this sure was a mistake. First off on the positive side, the staff was very friendly. We ordered two 1/4 chicken (dark), yes, we ordered chicken but what we got were two tiny 1/4 "humming bird" size looking drum sticks and thighs (both 1/4 chickens together weren't enough for one person);... What a quaint restaurant. Feels like you are in the Middle East. Owner is from Tunisia and brings the flavors of home with him. Had plenty of choices for my vegetarian needs. The grilled salmon was wonderful as was the vegie kebob. Really enjoyed the different appetizers such as fool (favorite bean) in tomato sauce, the hummus and pita were... More

Marhaba EZ street or lot parking; inviting interior; large menu of treats; gracious staff. I have traveled extensively in the Middle East (Africa Continent) and believe me, the food here is sensational! In fact, the whole vibe was so cool! Remember when Clarence fell off the swing trying to impress Bela? Well, I took my partner here to impress and... More

We originally wanted to eat at Yoshinoya Japanese Restaurant which is located in the same commercial area at Pico Blvd . When our group of 13 disembarked from our van, a man who was at the parking area engaged us in a conversation, saying that we should try the restaurant that he manages and claiming that they serve really good... Food amazing! Kids loved the shawarma and kebabs, husband devoured the lamb shanks with gusto! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants great food. Friendly, helpful staff. A real pleasure to dine here!

The food here was lovely. Good solid Greek food -nice juicy meat kebabs served with silky smooth tasty hummus, rice, salad and pita for $10-12 and reasonable portion. Sadly the service was so sloppy and there was only four people in the place and the same amount of waiting staff. We asked for water and sodas. They didn't come -... More

We stopped here for lunch on the way to the beach in Santa Monica. Nicely decorated and good outdoor seating despite being located in a strip mall. Friendly staff. The food was so good. Yummy hummus, salad, pita, shawarma. Everything was fresh and portion sizes were good. Even the fries were good.

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
