I like M Street's patio. It's only a couple of blocks from the beach, good salads, friendly staff, a dog friendly patio, and overall a nice spot to relax outside.

Tuna Poke is incredible. Wait staff was attentive really cared. There is covered seating if you want to be outside however if you choose to be inside the large windows are open and you get to enjoy the evening air.

OK it is great for lunch and dinner too. Perfect lower priced excellent food. When you don't want to spend $40 a couple for lunch come to this place. The brunch overflows onto the seating on the sidewalk for al fresco dining. Whatever you order make sure you have the giantic english muffins. Not only large but the best you... More

Great food but at our age > 60 hard to have conversation with group of 5. Throat is sore from yelling and brain is tired from deciphering conversation. Maybe ok if there were just 2 of us and we sat in booth or outside. Nice atmosphere snd decor.

Shares a kitchen with Stella Barra next door. Perfectly okay. Went for an early lunch and had a good chicken sandwich in the sun. Endless coffee, although decent booze available. Good place to watch the SoCal beautiful people and the out of work actors (wait staff). Next door is better but you won't be disappointed.

Two of us had probably our best ever breakfast. Good staff and really good fruit juice too. We'll be back for sure.

I was so excited to try this spot and was sorely disappointed! I got poached eggs on avocado mash and homemade English muffins. It sounded delicious but was served cold and the English muffins were strangely soggy. The side salad it was served with was overdressed...so pretty much a failure all the way around. The silver lining was the banana... More

Fab place for drinks sitting around the fairly large, central bar. The pizza was very good combined with the excellent suggestion of the Barbera from the bartender to go with the spicy Burrata and salami pizza. The noise level is high but that might be my only complaint.

Fabulous! One of the good ones! Close enough to Revolver Gallery and Gallery district. Both meals great. Service good!

This place is popular for good reason: there's a lot to love about this neighborhood cafe. The menu has great options across breakfast and lunch. The egg sandwich was delicious, the English muffin is made on the premises, and the scramble egg layer came with a choice of turkey, ham or bacon - avocado, tomato, mayo. It was refreshingly not... Staying in Santa Monica

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
