Food was great and service was exceptional. Loved the oysters. I had no idea there were so many kinds. Trout fresh catch of the day was delicious.

This was my favorite of all of the places we ate in Santa Monica. We order several yummy small plates and everything was delicious! It was the perfect amount of food and well-priced.

Stopped for a light lunch and enjoyed a 1/2 dozen raw oysters, crudo, and probably the best key lime pie I have had. They have outside seating facing the palisades park with blankets when the breeze changes. Service was very good.
The Blue Plate Oysterette is an unpretentious joint with excellent reasonably priced seafood dishes- a great place for lunch. Service is brisk and efficient. The ceviche is highly recommended.
