It's a nice restaurante near Venice Beach. The service is great + the price ratio is just perfect. The food tasted very good. I had a "Shameless Burger" (-> picture) and it was delicious! I would definitely recommend it. The staff is very nice and...More

Nice bar with friendly staff. Four of us had fish and chips and the portion was big and the taste was great. There was a band playing American bluegrass and they were very enjoyable. Would have preferred something a bit more Irish as apart from...More

Wandered in to watch a UK football match and had a couple of rounds of drinks including a rather passable Guinness and a shared plate of breaded chicken. The place is a little down market but i think thats the charm.. I would go back..

$9 a Guinness at an Irish Pub? Too much. But really good food. I suggest the chicken tenders with buffalo sauce.

Spent Sunday afternoon exploring Santa Monica and Venice Beaches. Needed a pick-me-up after miles of walking and found it in the food and drink at Finn McCool's. A cool Irish pub recommended by our motel hosts up the block. The place has lots of dark...More

We were looking for a quick meal at 9pm on a Monday night and walking down Main street stumbled upon Finn McCool's which seemed to be the only place with any life. It turned out to be trivia night, so the place was busy and...More

There is always a fun atmosphere here with the bar decor imported from a pub in Ireland. My favorite dish is the Boxty (potato pancake crepe) but you cannot go wrong with any of their Irish specialties.

We just wanted a quick bite for lunch and stopped in...not crowded, personable waiters, above average menu with options ranging from multiple great salad options to soup to great (and some unusual) sandwiches and burgers, wings, the usual bar food plus. Prices are very fair...More

Traditional Irish pub feel with great beer selection, reasonably priced food, big screen tv's placed where needed, not overwhelming the pub, comfortable and very friendly staff make this a nice destination place on popular Main Street south of the Santa Monica Pier. Easy ride to...More

Happy hour orders were charged the full rate!! Did not know until leaving area. Not worth the trip from Santa Clarita. Not crowded but very noisy. Seated where it was hard for the whole group to see the game. Veggies in Shepherd's pie were crunchy,...More

Description
Boasting a “huge” bar “shipped on a boat” from the old country, “always-friendly” service (often by “real Irish boys and girls”) and a large selection of spirits and draft beer, this “unpretentious” SaMo pub packs in a “lively” “mix of young and old” for “good-bargain” happy hours or just for a pint and a “game on the TV”; weekends are “lots of fun” with traditional music performances on Sundays.
