We don't get steaks like here in the UK so I went mad and had the cowboy cut. $47 isn't cheap but it was worth it and I would have again without hesitation.

We walked across the street for a fabulous tri-tip dinner at a reasonable cost. Their wines were good and the pours were very full. I reader the interesting history and they continue their strong heritage.
This restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside (location & condition of building), but the inside is a family atmosphere.
This is one of the older restaurants in Santa Maria and has always been one of the finer restaurants in town. The Santa Maria area is know for its great steak houses and Shaw's won't let you down.
