We ate here early one evening and would return again. Food is freshly cooked and good value. Service is fast and friendly. Vegetarian options are good. Looks like they have a strong take-out business. The only criticism was the food wasn't "Thai hot" - the green veggie curry and green papaya salad weren't sufficiently heaty - better luck next time.

I had chicken pad thai: it looked very good, had all the right stuff, but did not impress me at all, who knows why. The place is popular.

Some locals say stay away from the restaurants on Pacific Ave because tourist areas restaurants seem to fall into lower standards and quality because of all the tourists. If you don't have to impress people to get business, many business's don't try to hit the high mark, but Pacific Thai is an exception. This is the second time that we... More

Small Thai place with very friendly staff and good food. Pad Thai, Green Curry & shrimp rolls are really good. Try the satay too. And the value is excellent.

Everything about this place is good. I would go back. The food is good. The prices are good. The portions are good. Perfect UCSC hang. Definitely worth going to when you are downtown and need your Thai fix.

Since this place seems to be always full of people, it fools people into mistaking it for a good restaurant. But after dining there, I wonder how many repeat customers they have. The service is very poor and expect to spend a lot of time there waiting for your food. They are understaffed which adds to the problem. And when... More

The food is average or slightly above average depending on how familiar you are with Thai food. Just been to Thailand a few months ago, I have to say the chicken is too dry, curry does not have enough coconut cream or Thai spice or sugar. But the place is clean and price is quite affordable, service is fast, waitresses... More

Above average Thai cuisine. Start with the coconut battered sweet potato fries -- outstanding! Entrees were good. Also has boba drinks , always a good thing.

Frend and I, came to this place after reading recommendations on trip adviser. Stuff is indeed very friendly and helpful. Tea was good. Restauran atmosphere was more like fast food. Many people come for take away food. It seems restaurant is known. Food was visually OK but not really tasty. We had plates : sweet and sour with fish and... More

We appreciate the feedback and are sorry to hear that we didn't quite make a winning first impression. While I'm happy to know that the service and presentation were appreciated, we always want our dishes to meet that same quality. We typically get great reviews on the flavors we use, so I'm incredibly concerned to know that you didn't feel... More

We always go to this place for bubba tea and decided to eat here. The first time the food was good and we decided to go there again. Unfortunately the second time there was horrendous. When my food arrived it had an off smell and when I checked the chicken pieces on the dish were half way uncooked! That was... More
