We shared the New England Chowder in a sourdough bowl and the stuffed chicken breast, along with a beer on tap. The food, beverage and the service were all very good. Plus, we had a lovely view of the harbor and sunset. We would go...More

On visitor attraction Stearn's Wharf, it has valet parking & free parking nearby. Staff is friendly and efficient but more importantly, the food's wonderful. It has nice views at anytime but watching the sun set over the harbor from your table is a real treat.
Went for lunch, great location and view. I thought the prices for lunch were Ok especially considering what they would be paying for rent there! Main problem was the lobster roll, when you freeze lobster,it goes soft and ends up tasting like crab! If you...More
We arrived before the restaurant opened (about 4:30), so we ate on the deck at the bar/grill. The food here is ok to good and the wait staff very personable. Drinks were very good. BUT, this place is way (I mean way) overpriced - like...More

The outside seating was packed with customers. It was difficult to get to tables, etc. The food was good, the service was marginal (most likely due to the crowd). I would definitely return to give them another try.
We had special friends from Chile with us and I wanted to take them to a good restaurant in Santa Barbara. But the place I wanted to take them was locked behind a train that was not moving and traffic that was moving even slower....More
In general, I have lowered expectations for restaurants with views. However the Harbor was a decided exception to the rule that great views and good food/service can't coexist. We made selections from the luncheon entrée and salad sections. Both were flavorful and well presented. Service...More
