Cute and well kept. Good food especially the free mini muffins. Fun place to take the kids and tell them about all the pancakes you ate there as a child.

A little more expensive than a Denny's with similar offerings, but you cannot match the view. Food quality was good and they are willing to cook to order.

They start off by bringing you a basket of freshly baked, warm mini blueberry muffins that are so flaky and light. They don't skimp on the food and the service is fast and friendly. It's always crowded but worth the wait. I would definitely go again!

Most of these have closed in the last few decades because the name was mis- understood. Thankfully the original remained. The breakfast is great and the pancakes brought back memories. The restaurant has original art work showing the Indian boy and his tiger. The quality of food is better than I remember.

Walked down from our hotel along the beach on a nice sunny morning. Got there around 10:30 and had to wait 20 minutes; was popular as crowd was waiting outside. Had some seating outside and more inside. Service was great; breakfast/lunch menu. Food was very good. Really one of the best eggs Benedict we've had.

We started our day at Sambo's. Both my wife and I grew up with Sambo's in our local community. Of course the name and image created problems but it still brought back a part of our youth. The food choices were what you would expect with some delightful twists. The service was exceptional from start to finish. We were always... More

I got a Chorizo Omelette and a glass of OJ. My tab was $20 straight up before gratuity. I stopped here because I haven't eaten at a Sambo's since I was a kid. They used to have 'em in Phoenix. Some of the charm I remember is still here. It's an awesome location across from the beach. I was not... More

We started our day with a nice stroll down to Sambo's for breakfast - it was an excellent choice. The food was really great and the staff were friendly. We all picked off of each other's plates as everyone was sure that they had ordered the very best thing - a good problem to have for sure. We would definitely... More

Whenever we go to Santa Barbara, Sambos is the ONLY place we go for breakfast, the pancakes and wonderful and the portions are large. Plus, it's right across from the beach....amazing view. Sorry the chain is no longer there but there is, at least, one left for a great meal
