Something different, never had food from Puerto Rico . Coconut pudding with mango sauce was amazing. Food made with plantains was delish. It is noisy but very fun. You might share a table with others, but its OK. Helps you strike up a great conversation. I would go back for sure.

This is my 1st review of Sol, although it's my 3rd time having lunch here. Their limonada served in a very large Mason jar is deliciously thirst-quenching. This time I had the shrimp criollos combo. The shrimp were succulent, spicy, and very flavorful. It's a quick lunch place where you share a table w other diners. Service is good.

Fun lively eatery, a bit pricey for a stand up order rushed service casual environment. Solid food, large portions. Cuban sandwich delicious as was shrimp and chicken special. Be prepared to stand in line and share table with others as well as a rushed feel due to the long line to get in and limited seating.

Very crowded...but I now know why! We did have to wait about 15 mins to be seated but that gave us plenty of time to really go over the menu to pick out exactly what we wanted. Everyone in the family picked something different....1/2 chicken, steak, ribs and the Cuban sandwich. Each plate was prepared perfectly. The flavors clean and... More

Plantain chips are a great curbside snack and the chicken breast plate is a staple for us. After eating in regularly we now favor the to go side as we have a newborn and can't wait in line. Worth the wait for an out of town group but easy enough to take home if you're okay with hosting. Solid food... More

Went here for lunch on a rainy Monday. About a 10 minute wait for counter seats. Longer if you want a table. Place was busy, busy. But the service was great and the food came out fast. My husband had the white bean, chard and ham soup which he loved and I had the Cubano sandwich. Delicious and so big... More

Sol Food is for sure a spot that everyone needs to try. Prepare yourself to wait in line just to get inside. It's that good! Everything from their rotisserie chicken to their steak sandwiches. Don't forget to buy a bottle of their hot sauce to take home with you.

I had never eaten Puerto Rican food before but my nephew told me we had to go to Sol Food. I was not disappointed. I ordered the Paraiso sandwich which included fried plantains for a bit of a sweet taste. It was delicious. It doesn't come with a side but the sandwich was huge so I was able to take... More

It was my first time to try Puertorican cuisine. You pay first and then sit. The food reminded me of Cuban food because of plantains, black beans and great tasting chicken. I will definitely return to dine there. Waiters were very friendly.
