The fusion cuisine restaurant on the 2nd floor offers excellent food, generous portions, at very good prices. The shaking beef, lollipops or noodle dishes are great. Same with the sprouts and aubergines. Note all dishes are available for take out. The decor is fine, nothing great. The bar on the 1st floor is simply too noisy for my taste.

I've been going to the Attic for years. Their happy hours are the BEST. First of all, they run until 10pm at night with $5 beer, wine, and appetizers. Mainstays on the pub grub are the smoked edamame ($3 and highly recommended), sriracha chicken wings, and garlic noodles. At one point they had sisig tacos. Yummy! One caveat is that... More

I love the Attic! Hidden away upstairs from the bar below. Every time I go there I have a wonderful time. It's hard to explain but it's like the perfect little tapas place. Like your aunt's restaurant upstairs but way cooler. Asian Fusion cuisine. I love the garlic noodles, add crab if you wish! They use the space well as... More

It's like a hole in the wall..this time it's at the attic, so you have to walk up the stairs. If you're in a group, you're lucky to get a large table as it was full when we came and we were seated at the lounge area. It's Asian Fusion that meets the West. Young college people are your servers,... More

That's how we feel when greeted at the Attic in downtown San Mateo. Upstairs from a rather hip bar is the "Attic" dining room with Asian specialties. Their Filipino dishes are particularly delicious. Service is rapid and gracious. Thank you!

Will never come back again. Not worth it. Foods is too sweet. And it's not enough for an adult. Beef doesn't taste like beef. Chicken is like super. Is there a real chief over there

The staffs are very friendly. Good cocktails drinks but the food is a bit on the greasy and salty side. Perhaps that's what people crave for when they're drinking. Much younger crowd. Cute little spot.

If you are looking for a unique selection of dishes, you'll find it here. Their menu is a haven for all pallets. Their fresh spicey noodles were amazingly good. Just enough heat to know it's there but not so hot that I had to wipe my forehead. We each got two dishes to share because we couldn't decide on just... More

The food is served to share -- tapas/family style -- so order a few mains and starters for everyone at the table to share. This is a fun way to try everything! Attic is a gem in the busy restaurant row of South B street. Although this restaurant is categorized on FB and Yelp as Chinese..that it is not. It... More
