Fantastic burger with wonderful side dishes. The service was a tad slow but overall the experience was wonderful. The lighting was dim but romantic. The wine list was small but with excellent choices.

In town for a quick trip. Main courses uninspiring so we ordered salads and a few small plates. Big complaint - no grilled chicken for the Caesar Salad? I was told that it is only available for lunch but not dinner. All I wanted was some protein. Caesar dressing had a nice little spicy kick to it and the salad... More

The weather was lovely so I ate on the patio out front. It was great for people watching while I waited for my lunch to arrive. The Granada platter was delicious... large enough to share with 2. I also had the Wedge salad. It was OK but the dressing was thin and very peppery. I prefer my blue cheese dressing... More

This is a popular spot downtown but for good reason. Lots of exposed brick and candlelight make it cozy and romantic. Interesting cocktails and small plates make it a great place for drinks. Our dinner entrees were good, (although perhaps not outstanding) but it was a lovely spot for a nice evening out.

San Luis Obispo is a city of many charms. I visited here recently for a beercation tour of the area and while the focus may have been on beer, I quickly discovered that San Luis Obispo is also home to some excellent eateries, among them Granada Bistro. Granada Bistro is located right in downtown San Luis Obispo, California and is... More

Service here was great - so knowledgeable without being pretentious. The food combinations created some real taste sensations. Local wines were wonderful and our server offered to bring as many samples of different wines as needed. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner (and a great breakfast) here.

My wife and I dined at the bistro last week and had a very nice experience. The bistro is a little dark and brooding in color, lighting and tone, but that is compensated for with lively and creative libations, inventive small plates with fresh flavors and clean provisions. There is a "community" table where you can chat with other diners... More

The patio is snug and the setting is really nice. The food - meh. The salmon was cooked well, but uninspired - no herbs or seasoning to make it interesting. They did not allow substitutions, so I could not have butternut squash...and the white beans were truly boring. No flavor, no seasoning. Spinach was fine, but sparingly offered. I wouldn't... More

Set off a bit from a side street in the center of town, Granada recalls a European vibe rare in SLO, and it is indeed discreetly connected to a small hotel. The front patio with its fountain is cool and inviting on a warm afternoon, and the bar is is easily accessible with a nice variety of drinks and wines.... More

We were seated outside on a cool and windy evening. Blankets and heaters helped but we were not really comfortable throughout the entire evening. The cheese plate was disappointing. Three small samples of cheese, all identical texture and similar taste in an uninspired presentation. We then shared a butter lettuce wedge and a Prime New York Strip with blue cheese.... More
