The ice cream is smooth, cool and great tasting. The behind the counter help are very nice and friendly. The atmosphere takes one back to olden times, when their were ice cream parlors almost on every block. Thankfully this one is thriving! Worth a trip to check this one out!

This place is must go if you have an ice cream craving. The have a great variety of flavors and sundae combos, and they're not scared to pile it on. You definitely get your money's worth here. It's a perfect pairing for Porky's pizza, dinner then desert right across the street, you have to visit both.

In business since 1972. Family owned and operated. Generous portions. Can be crowded on warm days but worth it.

They have the best ice cream parlor in San Leandro. Love that they bubble gum ice cream, great Herbert's, and sorbets. Priced right with large serving sizes.

Clancy's is a local spot that has been around forever. Great ice cream and great customer service. The owner is friendly and gets to know you especially when you come back over and over. Sometimes I wish it wasn't so close because I eat to much ice cream....lol

Clancys sell very good tasting ice cream either in cones/cups or larger plastic tubs for $6.75. There is a variety of flavors . On the downside, the indoor eating area is very small and old and the place could use a good clean over. Go for the ice cream not the ambience.

How have I not posted any reviews of this place! Definitely a hidden gem of San Leandro!!!!! I honestly would have never known of this place if it wasn't for the bf who grew up in SL! He brought me here and the outside of the ice cream shop instantly caught my eye! The vintage look of the sign which... More

My friends introduced me to this place after our Saturday morning walk. We were early, the door is open but the store is not open for business yet, but the owners allowed us to browse around. They offer a flavor of the month (or week or day?) that they concoct from their variety of ice cream flavors, so I asked... More
