There is, simply put, no other place like this in Santa Clara Valley. Just walking in relaxes a person as they feel like they are being welcomed into someones home. Very comfortable and very old world feeling about it. An extensive menu of traditional German and American items is available each day as well a nice selection of daily specials.... More

There were seven of us for dinner on 10/3/15, to enjoy Oktoberfest. The food and drink is excellent, just remember to make reservations because it always fills up, and if you want music go Friday night, they open at 5:00pm

After a long day working, we were taken to this fabulous German Restaurant. It was one of the best German restaurants that I have eaten at. The service was top notch form the minute you walked in the door. Since we were from out of state, a local person recommended that we try it. I had the pork cutlet with... More

Met friends here for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. So much fun. The food is delicious traditional German cuisine. The beer garden with family style tables make it more fun. Make sure you go during Summerfest or oktoberfest so you get a real feel of how they celebrate in Germany. Our favorite part besides the food is the entertainment. Been... More

I wanted to like this place, but sadly, it was not to be. Let me start by saying the beer is very good... Okay, the place is old, that's not a problem. Loved sitting in the bier garden on a nice evening. Now, the food...the meals are BIG, old school dinners with everything included. Bread is brought out and it's... More

It's about as Bavarian as it gets for the Bay Area! They serve Hefeweizen by the liter (or optionally "einen Halb-Liter" if you wish to save calories). I recommend the Paulaner. Four course meals include, for example, an authentic soup, salad, Schnitzel+Spätzle so good you can tell your German mama, "Diese Abend, kochst du nicht den Supper für uns." Save... More

The average price for main entree's was about $25 and included soup, salad, entrée and apple strudel. I ordered the Brat's with potato salad and sauerkraut. They served three different types of brats that were fresh and tender. The Polish was too hot for my taste. The potato salad and sauerkraut lacked the tartness of vinegar and not sure if... More

Visited twice in the same week. First time we ate at the bar, the second time out in the courtyard. My friend and I are both frequent visitors to Germany and can vouch how good Teske's is!
