Not only do they serve Paella but they have a selection of Tapas to also choose from. It's a nice place to go with a group and order a variety trying a little of everything.

Went there with another family. No reservations, but it was pretty open on a Saturday evening. We were quick to get seats. About 5 vegetarian options, but none of the dishes were memorable. Would probably go to other places for Tapas in Mountain View or Palo Alto next time.

We visited this restaurant before seeing a Broadway San Jose production. We arrived fairly early and were the only ones in the restaurant for a while. While we were greeted warmly, it was an odd feeling to be the only patrons. The sangria was delicious as were the appetizers. I will say that the menu does not do a good... More

Severs are warm, atmosphere not elegant, but has an average paella. Comercial, but ok. Oxtail is also a god option and tastes fine... It's not an excellent Spanish cuisine, but allows you to enjoy a paella in San Jose.

Interesting place that could be really excellent with just a few changes. This place is relatively small, but with a cute ambiance. A little more crowded than I would like, uncomfortable chairs, really slack service (I had to go up and get my own water at one point, took a long time to signal someone to order more tapas). But... I went to try Picassos Restaurant. The food was ok to good, but the service was a bit lacking. We ordered a Paella for two, and we ended up being hungry afterwards. I think they were a little tight on the food. Their portions need to be a little bigger :D

I've been looking for a good tapas restaurant and I am shocked I didn't come across this restuarant sooner. In this location for 18 years and a 20yr veteran of downtown San Jose, you don't find establishments like this often. Unapologetically themselves with a true Spanish vibe (only open for dinner, mix of upscale with utiliatrian features like the requisite... More

We came here based upon reviews we saw. Picasso's doesn't open until 5:30pm, so if you want to dine earlier, try another place. Sangria was good, we'd ordered a pitcher for the table -- you get 4 glasses from it. The serve sliced bread (sliced thicker than I'd prefer) with their tapas. So, be careful about eating too much of... More

Basic furnishings, looks like the corner eatery especially with the butcher paper on top of the white tablecloths. The cost for each item was overpriced for what was served. The paella was so palefaced it was like they forgot to put the saffron in it or they just waived the saffron over the skillet. We ordered several dishes, one dish... More

Trying to be an upscale restaurant and a homey little locals eatery at once is a daunting proposition. Picasso's doesn't quite rise to he occasion. The decor is basic home town eatery complete with the requisite large sheets of butcher paper on the tables, the spartan decorations other than the picasso reproductions around the room. Tjhe creaky wooden kitchen chairs... More
