Their paella negra was fantastic!!! The owner was super nice. He suggested to only do 2 tapas since we were getting a Paella. He gave us a free plate of lengua too, which melts in your mouth. We will definitely come back again.

We had tickets to a show at the Improv and it's 2 blocks from there, and I've always wanted to try this restaurant. If you like garlic, this is the place for you! Order the tortilla espagnola, which has a pungent garlic mayonnaise on the...More
place is not well visited.Food is o.k. Prices are very expensive.I have visited this place several times. When I was there on a Monday evening there were only 10 persons, altough the place is small.
Not only do they serve Paella but they have a selection of Tapas to also choose from. It's a nice place to go with a group and order a variety trying a little of everything.

Severs are warm, atmosphere not elegant, but has an average paella. Comercial, but ok. Oxtail is also a god option and tastes fine... It's not an excellent Spanish cuisine, but allows you to enjoy a paella in San Jose.
Interesting place that could be really excellent with just a few changes. This place is relatively small, but with a cute ambiance. A little more crowded than I would like, uncomfortable chairs, really slack service (I had to go up and get my own water...More
I went to try Picassos Restaurant. The food was ok to good, but the service was a bit lacking. We ordered a Paella for two, and we ended up being hungry afterwards. I think they were a little tight on the food. Their portions need...More
I've been looking for a good tapas restaurant and I am shocked I didn't come across this restuarant sooner. In this location for 18 years and a 20yr veteran of downtown San Jose, you don't find establishments like this often. Unapologetically themselves with a true...More
