An fun, energetic restaurant with outstanding authentic wines and food. We started with the garlic mushrooms. It was one of the mushroom dishes I'd ever had. We ordered the Paellla Mar (which is made to serve two). It was outstanding , fresh scallops, calamari, mussels, and shrimp that was served in Spanish Bomba rice !! It was absolutely devine! We... As the house musician I get to enjoy amazing Tapas, Paella and Fine Boutique Wines from small production wineries from the Ribera del Duero region. And on the weekend I get to share my music with our guests from all over the world.

This is definitely my fav Tapas place. Food is amazing with a nice wine list and great service. Luv the fact it's also family run. Must try the short ribs they just added to the menu. Their Paella is another must try and simply amazing. Montserrat & her son David bring a real Spanish authenticity to their food menu, beer... More

Great food & ambience. Tapas are amazing and service is good. This place feels like a small piece of Barcelona. Congratulations to the owner, it is hard to find a good tapas place outside Spain and this one is really authentic.

With an authentic Catalan lady and her son running the place (quite literally) the food is exceptional and the people are super nice Friday and Saturday nights they have live music and some interesting banter The wine prices are great and I recommend sitting at the counter so you can se everything happening in the kitchen

The nice thing about Tapas is its easy to try a lot of dishes. So we had all sorts of things. The Gambas al Ajillo were shrimp in the shell (not split) coated in a decent sauce/spices but of course like always when you shell them the shrimp aren't spiced or sauced at all. The Pulpo con Pimiento is chopped... More

Their authentic Cuisine from Spain always makes me feel back at home! Their signature salad dressing 'Roselló', the Patatas Bravas, the Paella with its Socarrat, evrything is so good! Also, the Gello dessert... yummy! The special of the day at lunch time has a very reasonable price. And not to forget, the friendliness of the service! Also, a great place... More

I've been for dinner here twice and both times were amazing. Food was superb, wine was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. The chef will say hi and there is Spanish music at the weekends. Great place, can't wait to go back!

We had a work dinner at La Catalana. This restaurant serves authentic Spanish tapas and paella. We all enjoyed our food, but the service was on the quirky side: our food, which was meant to be shared, many times came without serving utensils. There was no offer to refill our waters after they were drunk, and our waiter curtly notified... More

In 2010 Montserrat and David Rosello opened the doors of La Catalana to the Bay Area and the world. The mission was to transport diners to a Spanish-Catalan environment, through culinary creations. La Catalana offers an experience for all senses, from the savory food, to the authentic art and rhythmic ambiance. In addition to the culinary creations and traditional tapas, diners are introduced to world renowned Spanish wines. The experience is meant to be enjoyed.
La Catalana is Sabor, Cultura, y Alegria!
