Spicy Miso w/ Kobe and traditional vegetables is the way to go! Sesame sauce with the spicy drops (for the spicy adventurer)...

We have a group of 8 people from work to go there for lunch. The place supposed to open at 11:30 but we were there 1st at 11:25 and seated at 11:45. Did I said we were the first ones??? but they started to serve food to 5 or 6 groups of 4 and 2 before they even take our... More

Waited 1.5 hrs and left. Worse service ever. Even out of ice and standard green onion topping. Dry rice stuck on plate. Running around in circles and one meat slicer trying to pump out orders but clueless to sequence of orders placed. one star rating because no lower option. Amazing this place still in business!! People next to us who... More

We took our London cousin here before going to the airport! He loves beef so we all ordered the $9.50 Shabu Shabu meal which includes 5 oz of prime beef along with side dish of chicken or gyozas and the vegetables to cook in the miso broth. It was a real conversation piece for him as he has never tried... More

First thing, you can't even buy the grade of meat they serve anywhere in the state I live. It is like prime plus two or something. It is worth going just to see their meat. I mean come on, everybody likes to inspect meat for proper marbling, right? I found this place while I was wondering around the streets looking... More

I went with a friend to this area as I knew that there were several Japanese restaurants nearbye. We picked here on spec, and were not disappointed. We ordered a large lean beef and large lamb with both broth options. I personally prefer the traditional Japanese version of clear broth and Ponzu dip over the Spicy Miso. The meat quality... More

Boiling water is how you cook the thinly sliced meat. The first 10 pieces are sooooooo good, but then after a while of stuffing your face it starts to slow down. I am not to keen on the miso sauce, but the ponzu sauce really hits the spot. There are a lot of veggies that come with your meal too... More

We finally tried Shabuway one Saturday evening. We arrived a few minutes after it opened. Our party of three were lucky to be seated right away; we even had the option to sit at a table or at the counter. We chose to sit at the counter so each of us would have our own pot. Our orders were taken... More
