The place has great steaks and beers. Really a good kitchen. However the serivce was somewhat unexperienced. Out of mash? Dont tell the guests and have them ask for fries...

Stopped by here and split a chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. The chicken sandwich was by far the winner! The cheeseburger is great but the chicken sandwich was just so much better. Had a nibble of some bacon a friend ordered and it was delicious as well. Located right next to San Pedro square so lots of parking available.

Visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening & enjoyed the food a lot. The service was excellent, the food was great & portions were large. The location is great as well. Close to downtown & convention center. The menu is a bit limited & children probably would not be interested in most of the options. Items were quite expensive but... More

The menu, wine list, beer list and cocktail lists aren't very long but they have excellent breadth. The beet salad and octopus were excellent. The angry prawns are very spicy and also good.

Went for brunch on Sunday. Bartender was very good quick to greet and service good. I ordered the disassembled sloppy joe, was spicy sloppy joe sauce on grits with egg on top and a half piece of toast. The flavor was ok but was not very hot (temp wise) and there should have been more bread accompanying. I asked and... More

I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday, and made the Hostess and the waitress know about the special event. We ordered drinks, appetisers, and selected two of the limited entrees for dinner. The food was OK, not outstanding, and the red wine was a bit warm. I had expected a small complementary dessert with a candle or a scoop... More

This restaurant is located in an old San Jose building with walls of brick. There is a bar which seems to be the focus of the business. The food menu is very limited and the restaurant area is very dark and small. My wife and I ordered and enjoyed the wild arugula salad and the angry prawns. The portions are... More

Just for the record, I trust Trip Advisor with all of my food selections. This one does not live up to expectations or the rating. Food was just OK and the quality of mixed drinks was subpar. Considering that we had to drive there from Santa Clara conventional center it was not worth ride

I visited due to the positive reviews and what looked to be a good happy hour menu/prices. I wasn't wrong. The bar tender was great and recommended the chicken wings. They were wonderful. A nice dry rub with a side of ranch (if you ask). BTW, the ranch is not needed. They are very tasty without it. I had a... More
