I came her becuase I heard this place had a nice bar and was a good place to meet people. I brought my good friend who was visting from Wisconsin to join me. We sat down at the bar and after some time eventually were approached by the bartender. Talk about a person with an attitude. Zero warmth and personality.... More

Fish tacos were pretty good. 2 on a plate. Spouse had carnitas which was plentiful, and took rest home to make an omelet the next morning. Special watermelon Margarita was excellent. Parking is difficult, street parking in San Anselmo. Service was very good.

This was a return visit for several of our group who love the vegetarian menu options. We were a large group in a busy and noisy section. Service was a little slow but attentive. The food was delicious. From the chips and delicious salsa options to the guacamoles to the entrees to the churros it was all fresh, innovative, made... More

I specially enjoy their well done vegetarian plate. Husband like the meat dishes. Nothing to complain about. Will be back many times.

I dine here occasionally when I want to go out for a tasty, well-prepared casual dinner. The food is good, the drinks are well-made, and the atmosphere is lively. At times, it can be a little too noisy. On the weekends, it's extremely busy so making a reservation is advised. It's a great place if you want to go out... More

You will like this place for it atmosphere and good food but for our taste most items are way over salted. If your OK with their sodium level, food will be enjoyable. We had fish and beef tacos. Both orders came with two generous tacos on the plate. Beans and rice are extra but not needed unless your real hungry.... More

I have friends who return frequently and they can seat large groups. It is a large facility with sports screens. Heavy wood. Eclectic decor. Staff is friendly. Salsa delicious, both red and green. Chips fresh with no rancid oil taste. The hash is very good. It is not your traditional Mexican fare, but it is interesting. I think if I return... More

We dropped in mid-day and found many of the food selections unavailable. However, the surroundings are lovely in a very interesting high ceiling wood environment with full bar and good upscale Mexican food. Street parking.

Marinitas features a menu inspired by dishes found throughout Mexico and Latin America using local and seasonal products. Through the collaboration of Heidi Krahling and Frank Villa, Marinitas delivers Latin focused lusciousness that is an exciting blend of the new and the familiar.
The wine list mainly draws from the expansive selections of the best wine makers from Argentina and Chile. Cocktails focus on the silver and gold liquors of Central and South America. The bar is dedicated to classic cocktail preparations including citrus juice squeezed to order, house made sweet and sour made from unrefined cane sugars, along with the highest quality mixers. Beers include a full Mexican selection from light Lagers to dark regional Latin micro-brewed Ales.
