Typical traditional Peruvian offerings, although not a broad selection of what I know of Peruvian food. Good Ceviche, not great. Staff were very nice.

The restaurant is tucked in a quiet and not a hugely visible strip mall type of area. The staff was friendly, timely and attentive service. A variety of appetizers ( hot and cold), few soups and salads with a solid variety of main plates. We ordered yuccas ( slightly spicy and favored cheese balls) and two seafood based entrees. All... While having a beer at Final Gravity a couple of doors down I ordered appetizers from La Huaca. The sample was really good and delivered to me at the bar. I will make a point of going to the La Huaca for a complet meal

I heard about this restaurant from a friend and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed! The food was incredible and there's a selection for every palate. It is much more convenient than traveling to Peru and every bit as good. The housemade Empanadas appetizer would have been good enough but the entrées were just as good.... More

High hopes not met by buffet. I was expecting a good cultural experience. Instead it was a lackluster Buffet. Tons of food spread over with no description, taste was decent. Not worth the $28/ person The atmosphere was nice.

Whenever Im on the 80 and have to stop and eat, La Huaca is the place!! The best Peruvian food Ive found so far. The Aji de Gallina, chaufas, and ceviche are mouthwatering. The Chicha Morada, purple corn drink is delicious. The desserts are phenominal! Great service, easy to find, nice ambiance. Well worth the stop! Dont pass it up.

Very out of the way place. Kind of hard to find as its in a strip type mall with lots of shops all around it. This place sits in the middle between a Good Will store and another small business. I thought it was an odd place. Once you are inside you feel much more connected to the Peruvian experience.... More

My wife and I shared an excellent chicken appetizer. She had duck breast and I had lamb shank. All fantastic. While I had scrafed all the lamb off of the shank, our waiter suggested that our dog would enjoy the bone. So we brought it home. Definitely a place to which we'll return.

This is a great place for peruvian food. I love their rice and fish dishes. Cool atmosphere and very authentic. It is our go to location in Granite Bay. They are also sensitive and able to modify dishes to be gluten-free. Awesome Spot!

For people looking for something different from the usual Mexican or Asian cuisine, I highly recommend the Peruvian restaurant La Huaca. I've been there twice and both times enjoyed their well-seasoned cuisine. The seafood is wonderful and the menu is large enough that there is something for everyone. I also have really enjoyed the live music on Friday nights. The... More

The initial melting of the culinary tradition of ancient Peru with Spanish cuisine, evolved through immigration and influences of French, Italian, Asian and African people, who modified their traditional cuisines with ingredients available in peruvian geography only. The result: Peruvian Gastronomy, the most diverse in the world. Welcome to the world of peruvian cuisine. Welcome to a whole new adventure.
