Thanks for your comments, Foodcowgirl. I’m honored that you’ve been a loyal customer for 36 years. Our family business has been around for 63 years, and we never tire of hearing the stories that so many of our customers share. That we fell short on...More
Oh my gosh! The best grinders ever! The meatball grinder is hubbies favorite and mine....of course....the Sicilian!!! We highly recommend grabbing a bite there and taking several home for later! AND ... they sell FRESH loaves of bread!! So add them to your take out...More
Thank you for the kind words. You enjoyed one of our classic meatball grinders, but also joined the thousands of guests who’ve found that our meatier, Sicilian—stuffed into our artisan, house made Italian rolls—can satisfy for hours! #deliasgrinders #itsthebread
It's long over-due. If you haven't tried d'elias then you must try. First time you will be sold!!! Lots of people as usual, but it's worth it.
A friend of ours was raving about the sandwiches here, so we decided to try it out. I tried to order a veggie but wanted to substitute the peppers and avocado. I know, I know, how can I live in SoCal and not like avocado?...More
I have been eating at D'Elia's since the early 70's. Had not been back to Riverside in 20 years but when I did, I made D'Elia's one of my stops and was pleasantly surprised to find out that it hadn't change, the food was just...More
This place is well known to locals and has somewhat of a loyal following in the area. The crunchy bread is so chewy and fresh and the different sandwich combinations can be daunting....but take your time reading over the posted on the wall menu. Once...More

My father was an Air Force pilot at March AFB in the mid-50's. He would occasionally stop by D'Elia's on the way home. The grinders he brought with him were fantastic every time. That store front is gone (Magnolia Center) but there are two others...More
We shared the 3 meat grinder, it was HUGE!! The meats are very lean and all the veggies are nice and crispy fresh and went well with the crunchy bread. All I can say is "can I have another!"
Perrone's Grinders are a fixture in Riverside. My family used to go to his cousin's establishment , but since it closed, D'Elia's is the place to go for the bread and the capicola sandwiches. Great food at great prices and a family owned establishment.....what more...More
D'Elia's has some of the best grinders in town. The one on University is better then the one on Van Buren. If you like homemade bread come to D'Elia's.More
Thank you for your Trip Advisor review. "Crusty" is exactly what we strive for in our bread's crust. New customers, at times, think it's stale, due to its crunchy shell, but that is the nature and consistency of our daily, house made rolls. I am,...More
