This was a favorite to go to but they had a change in owners I think it is now a corp ownership they have lost most of their waitresses and waiters in my area people that had been their 15 abd over years. So what ever that change is about I don't know...Food is still about the same you get... More

Excellent corned beef. Very tender and not too salty. Plenty to go home with. Had the coconut cream pie and shared it around just the right amount.

The Black Bear does a good job in general, but this is one of my favorite Highway 5 spots to stop and get some food.

My husband and I went to Black Bear after attending service at Bethel Church. I had their pancakes and bacon! By far these are the best pancakes I've ever eaten. The bacon was really good too! This is truly your classic American diner! The menu is full of choices and breakfast is served all day! The service is fast and the waitresses are very helpful and personable.
