The food is OK, but I would only go every two or three years. It is very noisy for one thing. Lots of children in attendance

Kobe is a bit dated. Needs a bit of refresh in the decor. Wait staff a bit confused and needs a bit more training and refinement. The food was fine and not too over priced for the location.

This was a favorite of the two small children we were dining with, but after that meal, the adults all decided it was off the table from that point on. I'm not sure why the Japanese grill/table concept hasn't died yet, but someone should put it out of its misery. The chefs don't seem to care, the food they produce... More

Been to a few Kobe Teppan steak houses... always pretty good. Food was great, surprised salad did not come with dinner. Sushi was good. Company at the Teppan table always makes the evening pleasant. Nice family from Vancoover BC complimented our Southern California group. Good dinner.

We visit this Japanese restaurant at least a couple of times a year. The chefs cook at grill right in front of you and each has a variation of a little entertainment routine they do. They have recently done some renovations and consequently we have noticed quite a price increase. You do get a decent amount of food though, but... More

Fortunately we had read the review reports in advance. Still Kobe creates perhaps expectations which do not necessarily correspond to what you will find. A beautiful building, kois in the pond, valet parking, all very romantic. Warm welcome. You can wait at the bar until they call you. We had asked for the teppanyaki table, and that was were they... Our disappointment started even before we arrived. I telephoned Kobe Japanese steakhouse to inquire what the fish special was that day and was informed they had crusted Salmon which is one of my wife's favorites so I requested a reservation for 1000 pm. We arrived at 945 and were advised that they were running late. We were finally seated at... More

Great fun place to bring the kids. Great service, average food, maybe over-priced. Don't forget to feed the koi on your way out!

Like a Benihana, but a bit better. Make sure you have reservations and be there on time. They don't seem to take late arrivals because we called with a plumbing problem and told them we'd be half hour late and all they can do was reschedule us to a 2 hour later time! But we made next day reservations and... More

We were looking for a place to please a family group age 3 to 88. Kobe was a good choice. The food was cooked in front of us which kept the kids occupied and everything was convenient for the 80 year olds. The service was quick and attentive. We decided to share all of our orders which took a bit... More
