Las Casuelas Nuevas is located a short drive away from downtown Palm Springs in Rancho Mirage, and it's definitely worth the drive if you're staying in the Palm Springs area. The restaurant offers expansive indoor and outdoor seating, and while both dining areas are comfortable, sitting inside allows you to enjoy the beautiful, colorful decor (especially if the desert temperatures... While visiting Palm Desert for a conference we were given a recommendation for an authentic Mexixan restaurant. We arrived and were promptly seated outside under the palm trees and lights. The weather is perfect for outdoor dining. There was a guitar player outside as well. We ordered ceviche as an appetizer and it was on point. Tender. Full of flavor.... More

The food was well prepared using quality produce and meats. The Sangria was nicely made, and the service was professional. We look forward to visiting this restaurant a second time and thank the folks at the Westin Mission Hills for recommending this restaurant.

Ok, so as you will be able to tell if you saw my prior reviews, this location is the best Mexican restaurant in the valley for ambience. However, in the past our food was always just average (perhaps because were visiting at peak times). Came here on a Thursday night at the end of January to find the place half... More

We arrived two couples on a Friday night with a reservation and were seated immediately in this quaint though quite large Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, many other tables were seated simultaneously. It took 30 minutes to get a drink and another 15 to actually order our meals. 45 minutes to order dinner is absurd. The bus boy worked hard, but it... More

We loved this restaurant... the atmosphere is fabulous. Open air outdoor dining with lights, live mariachi bands, etc. Food is delicious.

We had a great meal here. Not only is the food as close to authentic as you can get outside of Mexico, but the staff plays the part with colorful outfits and the ambiance of both inside and outside, takes to down south of the border in a warm cozy manner.

I have been here many times in the past and have never been disappointed. The service is excellent, prompt and caring. The food came quickly and was hot and tasty. If it's Mexican food you desire, you can't go wrong here.

We were there for a celebration on a Friday night and they had Mariachi's that night. Their food is consistently good and the atmosphere is fun. It was very cute to see the kids dance while the Mariachi's played 'cha-cha' music, they just couldn't help themselves. The Margaritas were great and guacamole is divine! Las Casuelas is good for all... More

After chip and salsa , had hoped for good Mexican because the salsa was good. However, the asada plate I got was tough and grizzly. The cheese enchilada was flat and bland. The side of beans were acceptable. The others at our table also thought it was okay as well. Plates varied from enchiladas to tacos. No one was wowed.... More
