I had the coconut shrimp chowder, and my husband had the New England clam chowder. Both were delicious! Nice view overlooking the ocean and pier. Cute place! Glad we went.

This is the place to go to try local & IPA beer on tap. Frequent events held (we attended a beer sampling and 4th of July- Of Course!)

We came in for lunch during a huge storm. The power went out in the restaurant and along the coast. Then my bread bowl of chowder was delivered and all was right with the world. I'm a New England chowder snob and Im jealous of anyone who can have this chowder more than once in a lifetime. But the biggest... More

No pun intended- The Pier Chowder House is down a steep hill from the Wharfmaster Inn in Point Arena, We ate here in November 2015 and thought it was pretty good, but something has changed for the worse. We were here with another couple this time, and my wife and the other man do not eat seafood, so they both... More

My husband and I stopped in for fish and chips and we were not impressed. The batter was a bit odd, I think it had dill in it. There was uncooked batter in parts of the fish. The French fries were limp but the onion rings were perfect. The servers were very nice.

I'm a bread-aholic and loved the Manhattan Clam Chowder in the bread bowl. My wife enjoyed the Boston Clam Chowder. We went back 2 days later for me to have another hearty bread bowl and she had the crab cake sandwich.

Stayed at the Wharf Master Inn, so this was certainly a place to take meals being just down the hill and all. The menu tends to be on the greasier side, but with that said, they have the best mozzarella sticks I've ever had! Their quesadillas and sandwiches are really good too. The bar service the first night was really... More

Everything you can want in a boat house enviroment. Perfect views, perfectly cooked crab. Fitting small town charm. We loved going here, food was good, service exactly as expected.

We arrived late in the evening and starving. The server was very accommodating (had a bit of attitude when she thought we couldn't hear her), but our food was yummy. Not the best we have ever had but hot and fresh. Between the four of us, we had fish & chips, chowder, crab cakes & calamari. The Calamari we did... More
