This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Pleasanton. It's one of those don't judge a book by it's cover... form the the outside it does not reveal the beautiful interior decor and ambiance. Food was superb along with the service.

We took our friends from the UK who were visiting for lunch after reading the high ratings. I was slightly disappointed as the tagliatelle bolognese was not as good as I've had elsewhere. The pasta was overcooked and not firm. Two others had the eggplant with burrata, a twist on eggplant parmesan which was tasty. Our other friend had the... More

My boyfriend & I visited here an on Valentine's evening. An excellent family owned authentic Italian restaurant. A little taste of Italy. From the moment you walk through the door the hostess often also, the manager greets you with a smile & escorts you to your quaint little table. Later you'll be served breadsticks & bread in a decorative Rot... More

We used to go about once a week, that was until I ordered the pesto pasta...utterly inedible. The sauce was obviously not fresh (from a jar or otherwise). Most of the items I had in the past were ok, but this was the nail in the coffin. We have not been back since. I think that since the owner/chef passed,... More

I was really disappointed in this place. As soon as we got their the female server seemed like she was in a bad mood. One lady with us was in the middle of a conversation and asked her 4 times in a row what would you like to drink; louder each time and in a more annoyed voice. We all... More

The strip center location hides a really very good little trattoria. The pastas are delicious, and the service is very good. Try this place for authentic Italian food.

Perhaps I was expecting more due to the high ratings of previous reviewers but I was actually a bit disappointed. The ambiance and service were excellent but the food was just ok. My entire party ordered off of the specials menu. I had tagliatelle with filet tips and it was good. Not great but good. If I had not expected... More

Our group of six went to De La Torre's on a Wednesday evening and the place was packed. It was a good thing that we had reservations. We ordered several appetizers and a couple bottles of wine. Everything was delicious. For my dinner, I ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese. Simply put, it was about as good as I've ever tasted. The... More

This was the third time that h I have met my friend for lunch and each time has been better than the previous visit. He always makes a reservation, which is recommended and always asks for a booth for a little quieter spot. The service is quick and friendly and the lunch menu vast and reasonably priced. He had the... More

The food here is always top shelf! From the fish to the pasta dishes, you can't go wrong. Small, intimate atmosphere.
