We enjoyed our dinner here last evening. Food was ample and different from typical Mexican dishes from our home in South Carolina. Our waitress was very helpful in telling us things to do here.

We went to El Rosal on a Friday night after a long days drive. We were seated right away and served warm tortilla chips, bean dip, and mild salsa -- all good. For dinner we ordered the pork chop (chuletas) and chimichanga dinner plates. The pork chops were nicely cooked and the chimichangas filled with meat (chunks of beef or... More

We stopped here for a late dinner on one of our many road trips that take us through the central valley of CA. Perhaps because it was late, the main chef/cook had departed for the night... but our food was not what I would classify as Mexican or Tex-Mex. We all have had better meals at taco trucks in LA.... Excellent food as good as the original location. I was staying at a close by hotel and needed a good quick meal.i ordered the smothered carnitas burrito and a Pepsi. It was worth the visit

Although we found parking just fine, that is probably the best thing about the place. The front door was even difficult to determine. Once inside we just meandered to an empty table. The food was boring but edible. The chips were stale. The grilled chicken salad was lame and way over priced. It seemed as though the two waiters were... More

I'm only giving them a 3 because the food is good, but not great, just good. The waitresses and bartender are just unfriendly!

Stopped in not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Very clean with plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen produced some tasty food and the menu contained enough additional items to make a return trip worthwhile. Service was marginal, as my server Erika seemed to be more interested in chatting in the back than providing attentive service.

We stopped here for lunch during a road trip. the place was clean and cool. I had chicken tacos and my hubby had the nachos. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food. My tacos were full of chicken, with super fresh lettuce and cheese. The tortilla was just perfect, it did not fall apart when you took a bite. We were... More

A franchise type Mexican restaurant. No frills, no thrills. Worker's are not rude but not really friendly either. Had to ask for drink refills, even for water.

The food and drinks are great. The service is not great, just ok. Manager makes good drinks but needs a personality.
