Most winery restaurants aren't great, but Villa Creek is a restaurant first, with their wine connection seconday. This is the right choice, and it helps that the wines are solid. The food was very good, with a small, curated menu that appealed to our entire party. The duck was fantastic, and the guest wine list is lovely. Worth a visit,... More

Went for dinner after a fun day of wine tasting. I ordered the filet mignon and my son ordered fried chicken. My son said the fried chicken was one of the best he ever had - it was not greasy and cooked perfectly. My steak was outstanding. Will definitely be back.

This is fancy food. The fried chicken is nothing like grandma made. It's crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside, but it has an Asian influence and comes with a "Vietnamese salad" -- strips of carrot and cucumber with scallions. With a half breast and a thigh, the portion is adequate. We had the Brussels sprouts, which are... More

So, this was a bit of a disappointment. I was at this spot a few years ago when it was a different restaurant and had such a great experience then that I decided to try it this month when in Paso for a girls weekend. We started with the lavash with some very odd cheese with garlic and honey accompaniment.... More

Hopped around the square in Paso Robles looking for some place to eat that didn't require reservations. This was a very good find. The food was excellent, as was the service (by Lynnette)

good ambiance, good food, good service, good wine. I had a kale salad, my wife a goat cheese and cherries appetizer. We both had the skirt steak. I was "wined out" after all the tasting at a few vineyards, but my wife had a glass of very good wine. They could have served bread, but, like many other restaurants in... More

New chef has been here a few months. Menu truly had a fall flavor. We skipped appetizers for desert. All of the appetizers sounded and looked wonderful (based on a neighboring table). If you bring a wine from Villa Creek there is no corkage. Otherwise corkage is $20. Skirt steak cooked exactly as ordered, tender and flavorful. Beans were cooked... More

I will confess I have not traditionally considered Paso Robles as having particularly pleasant outside weather or visual appeal, but this restaurant is helping change my mind. Since we traveled in later October, the weather was actually perfect, and the park was much more attractive than the majority of the downtown area. Our seats gave us a great view of... More

After walking around downtown Paso tying to get a table at several restaurants, my colleague and I ended up at VC. We weren't looking for American food but we ended up here because they were able to seat us immediately. It was a beautiful restaurant and our server was friendly. It was a bit awkward because she would say "I'm... More

Had a beautiful dinner of scallops. The menu is diverse and made deciding difficult since there wer several entrees that I would have liked. I will be back to try other options. I do recommend making a reservation

Working with local farmers since 1998. Villa Creek's Chef Tom Fundaro prepares local, organically or sustainably farmed products in rustic preparations. A local and international compilation of wines and a premium bar selection complement the fresh inspiring cuisine. "It seems that practically everyone visiting Paso Robles wine country passes through Villa Creek. That's easy to understand, because this winemaker hangout serves up youthful energy, satisfying food and an exciting wine list with excellent prices." Wine Spectator.
