The place is homey and the people are warm and very customer oriented. I love the boysenberry cobbler, but have friends who adore the peach. The honey in the crust makes it very special. Any of their cobblers are my favorite "bring" dessert to dinner parties, plus I love to support such a long time Pasadena establishment. The gumbo has... More

This place is very shabby on the outside but CHIC on the inside! The cobblers are chic, I should say. There is a very nice woman who works the register, took my order over the phone and greeted me with a smile. The cobblers are to die for! Seriously! I ordered the individual Apple, peach, and mixed berry. Slapped some... More

The owner is an Amazing Person! Her dolls, all over the place and her own creation are out of this world! She is very nice!

These folks know cobbler and I have tried every one of their offerings. Of course, the berry versions are the best (husband shouting in background: "Get the peach!"). The crust is just the kind I like. My only complaint is that they keep sort of irregular hours and even days of the week. If you were going to buy a... More

Best cobbler ever! Tends to be a little pricey but so worth it. And the service is as warm as the cobblers they sell! We're hooked.

Maybe that's not the point, but honestly, what's the big deal? This stuff is made from a handful of simple ingredients, and the way they cook it, it's a little overdone. But if you want a really sweet dessert--like, sugary, baby--then check it out. You've got to admire a small biz on a side street that remains a favorite.

Probably the best gumbo in the West. And when you top it with a fresh baked cobbler, you have a heavenly meal. All cooked in a tiny storefront. It seems to be family run. Good idea to call first if you have your heart set on a certain type of cobbler...they leave the shop the minute they come out of... More

The title says it all. The filling is a little on the sweet side, but very very good. Usually just the right balance between runny and firm -- only once did I have one that was too firm and jelly-like. They have peach and a variety of berry flavors. The crust is even better -- I've never had a cobbler... More

A sucker for dessert's and sweet foods, the Cobbler factory was introduced to me by my mom. And, from then on, it has been my favorite place to go for dessert after lunch in Pasadena. The Apple A La Mode is my reccomendation. A great place to go on a first date, or for that matter, any date. It's a... More
