El Cholo Cafe is a beautifully decorated Mexican restaurant, with ample seating choices. We chose to sit outside on the balcony overlooking Colorado Boulevard. The menu offers the standard Mexican cuisine items along with some house special items. Their margaritas are hard to beat.

The best part was the Salsa, great flavor and really nice heat. We ordered Carnitas and Cochinita Pibil. The Carnitas had no flavor, could have been a pork shoulder that I pulled out of the oven. The Pibil was a bit more flavorful, but I...More
We visited on New Year's night, so the slow service might have been from the holiday. Otherwise, the food was good and fresh. Salsa was a bit hot for everyone, but was just right for me. This is located in an outdoor mall, so there...More
