Located off Arroyo Parkway in Pasadena, this is a high end steakhouse. The Chop House serves quality beef prepared as you like it. They also have an extensive wine list. It is both expensive but very good. Valet parking is available.

We were there to celebrate a birthday and the card that was placed on the table was a very nice touch. Our meal started with a nice crusty bread, yum. My HB had the lobster bisque soup and he enjoyed it to so much I teased him about cleaning the bowl. The salads the rest of us had were really... More

You really can cut your filet with a fork, it's giant juicy and tasty. OMG, this is my go to for MEAT. they have great sourdough garlic bread and a warm BBQ shrimp salad to die for . We eat at the food bar and people watch. Good drinks and great service. expensive, but worth it. Great for Birthdays.

Had a lovely meal last night here. Tommy, our waiter, was super helpful and the steaks served were excellent. Will be back!

Arroyo Chophouse is a great Steakhouse with very intimate décor and a wonderful atmosphere. Ordered a petit Filet Mignon and my wife had the grilled Sea Bass, accompanied with Lyonaisse potatoes and Green Beans. Absolutely incredible meals that we followed up with a Grand Marnier souffle', which was just to die for. Overall a little pricey, but the meals are... More

Arroyo Chop house is a pleasant and reliable Pasadena steakhouse. Lots more steakhouse competition in Pasadena now (Ruth's Chris, Flemings, Del Frisco etc) but i think Arroyo delivers. Like many steakhouses, the prices seems high ($40-50 for an a la carte entree) but the steak and sides were great. Yummy onion rings. Great for a special event. One warning--tables near... More

Expectations are understandably high when dining at Arroyo Chop House because It is a place locals recommend. The hurried bustle just outside the restaurant underlines the high demand for this place but once inside the pace is purposely reversed, slowed considerably. There is a certain deliberateness at the hostess station as the reservations for new comers are checked thoroughly and... More

Overall, this is a very good restaurant with great service across the board, but I simply was not impressed with the steak quality at all. Everything here was great except the steak itself, which is the main reason one would go to a steakhouse. Everyone else I was with really enjoyed their meals, so maybe I just got unlucky. I'd... Last year, the Royce was the place to beat for steaks. Not this year. Arroyo Chop House as the Royce beat by a mile. For one thing the prices are pretty standard for steak houses, while the prices at the Royce are totally out of control -- $125 pp, before tip or wine. For another, Arroyo's red eyes, by favorite... Description
Ever-popular in the Pasadena area for the ultimate in business dinners, special-occasion dining and after-work cocktails hand crafted by the mixologists-Chop House has a broad appeal. USDA Prime Steaks, served exclusively, are aged, hand-cut daily, and perfectly seared in a 500 degree oven. Traditional steakhouse side dishes include creamed spinach, roasted garlic-mashed potatoes and massive asparagus spears. All desserts are made in-house including the signature Chocolate and Grand Marnier Souffles. The strikingly handsome restaurant exudes a youthful energy that gives the time-honored dining concept universal appeal. Our seasoned staff makes every effort to ensure our guests a remarkable dining experience and are happy to help guide them through the award-winning wine list.
