We went there for a late breakfast and were not disapointed. The blueberry pancakes were light and melt in your mouth. I helped that along with a side of bacon which was 5 slices just like Mom used to make. The regular egg dishes are huge along with omelettes and Eggs Benedict many ways. Lots of things to try we... The salads and soups here are outstanding, particularly the Cordiera salad. I had asparagus soup here the other day and it was wonderful. This restaurant is in an old house, with a lot of seating crammed into a small room and patio, but it all works very well. The only drawback is the awful Pasadena parking. It is a little... More

I had the breakfast burrito and I rarely clean my plate but this time I did - really good vegetarian options too. I would have returned for lunch but I get the impression they get really crowded.

We're always looking for new places to eat with our friends when we come to California. Marston's was awesome! Great food and the service was fantastic...I love when the servers fill your drink before you even ask. We lucked out and only waited 10 minutes but be prepared for a wait during busy times. Get the French toast if you... More

First time here. We came on a Sunday and luckily there was plenty of FREE parking available in the small parking lot and no wait in the restaurant. I'm pretty sure that's because we arrived at 1:30pm and it closes at 2:30pm... worked for me though!! I ordered the Full size portion of the California Orange Salad. First they brought... More

Normally I would go for an egg breakfast, this time I was enticed by their French toast. The French toast is dipped in a batter and then rolled in cornflakes. It's a unique flavor sensation. Crunchy on the outside from the cornflakes. Topped with lots of fresh berries and homemade whipped cream. Rich delicious coffee as well. This is a... More

Marston's is a gem of Pasadena. Well known for its brunches, but equally delicious for lunch. Individually owned, the moset popular dish is the California Salad with their own San Pascual dressing and freshly made cheese popovers. Everything has a home town feel and is very fresh. There are daily specials and stand-bye favorites. The interior is small and cozy with... More

If it is a nice day... dine on the porch. The food is very fresh and fun. The place seems very upbeat and in tune with the times. The converted home gives it a bit of old California vibe, but that is where the past ends.

Highly recommended and well worth the wait for a table. Have been here before and this time settled for the very generous salmon eggs benedict.

Was afraid it wouldn't live up to the hype but had a delicious breakfast. We had huevos rancheros and powerhouse omelette (but spied the french toast at the next table and will have that next time). Coffee was good, too!
