I really like their shakes, pies, and food... can't go wrong. Love the ambiance as well. I hope they are around for a long time. I can't wait to go back to this diner again when I visit home/ CA again. Miss their friendly staff and wonderful food.

The place looks like typical american dinner, it's really fun to go there ! I had a calfiornia burger with french fries, it was really tasty. The food is very good, especially the milk shakes, even if their price is a little too high. The staff is really nice, I didn't have to wait for too long, even if there... More

Burgers, shakes, fries. All good. Especially the burgers. Giant onion rings. This is the place to take the kids. Friendly, neighborhood place.

The Creamery is a Palo Alto institution, a badge of honor for any Paly or Gunn student to work in sometime before -- legend has it -- going off to study at Stanford, Harvard, Yale Brown, Columbia Princeton. The music and food are right out of the 50s, and it all feels authentic especially the milk shakes. There's a lot... More

Came here twice while in Palo Alto for some meetings. First for lunch and the second time for a piece of pie. Had a late lunch on a weekday so it wasn't crowded. Great service, attentive and servers listened to the details. Had a burger and fries. Burger was good, cooked to order and the plate was filled with fries.... More

great hamburgers and milkshakes...your kids will love it. but don't expect anything other than an old fashioned ice cream counter type place. very busy especially on weekends and in the summer when icecream sodas and milkshakes are flying out the door.

This little retro diner is straight out of the movies in decor and their extensive choice of sodas from the fountain. The red leather clad booths and 1950,s tubular steel rimmed tables set the tone for an all out indulgence in American grub. Enormous thick creamy milkshakes, 1/ 3 pond burgers topped with multiples from bacon, cheese, avocados etc, plates... More

We have eaten here for breakfast and with the kids many times through the years. This is a great spot to get a quick bite of comfort food. We bring the pies home all the time (return pie plate for your $7.00!) The food and service is always good. Have a malt with a burger, it's Americana at it's best.

Nice dinner with everything you would expect and more. Solid burgers for lunch and dinner and great breakfast/brunch place for eggs and bacon. They also make their own cookies and buns: you have to try the cinnamon bun.
