I've eaten here a couple of times while in the area and find this a good choice if you don't have all night to eat and you want a quick but hearty meal. They easily accommodated my request for a vegan dinner with a couple of choices. It was good, but a little on the spicy side even though I... More

Unfortunately the chutneys used were very similar on most dishes and... More

Super tasty with lots of choices! Also great if you're gluten free with lots of available options. Makes for easy delivery too.

I love curry up now. This location had an outdated menu. San Mateo location had the latest menu. This location accepts Levelup which is awesome! Try their combos and also burritos

You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Food came out quickly and was enjoyable.

The place is quirky. I've to admit that. But my one grouch is that in an attempt at fusion, the taste is kinda lost. I tried the burrito bowl and it was just about OK. I've had better The place is pretty crowded and there is a constant flow of people. If you are experimental with food, give this place... More

Sometimes fusin does go wrong, but with them, it was perfect. I had the thali and the portion size was perfect and so were the options for the main course.

Great food in a simple place. Go for the deconstructed Samosa. First time I ever found Gulab Jamon outside India. Try it out.

Description
Owned by local duo, Akash and Rana Kapoor, Curry Up Now was inspired by street food popular in India and other parts of the world. Akash and Rana started Curry Up Now as the Bay Area's very first Indian Street Food truck and have now expanded to five food trucks, four brick & mortar restaurants and two craft cocktail bars named Mortar & Pestle. Items on the menu include the iconic Chicken Tikka Masala Burrito, Deconstructed Samosa, Naughty Naan and Sexy Fries, plus there's an extensive list of gluten free and vegan options. Feeling like a night cap? Head to Mortar & Pestle Bar with friends for handcrafted cocktails, using housemade syrups, or try one of the locally crafted brews on tap.
