Pretty standard stuff, although the staff is particularly good, the location is good, and the curb side pick up is excellent.
The place does not look that inviting, but the food that is served is good. My wife enjoyed a Caesar salad (small portion) and I a thin crust Sizilian pizza, somewhat overwhelming in size but very tasty. The service was very friendly and good.
We stopped by after some shopping for a quick bite, place looked half empty, but hostess said it is 20 min wait. After I pointed out that half of the tables are empty, she said they are not been cleaned yet. So, I asked for the table outside, because surely I can see that at least 10 tables are available,... They are trying to run a normal CPK at this spot and it is just too crowded. The menus were gross (sticky and not clean) but the food is high quality. Sat at the bar and the email bartender took good care of us. The counter top was dirty until I asked to have it cleaned. The pea soup was... More
Had dinner at the CPK at the Stanford Mall in Palo Alto with my husband and my 88 year old mother-in-law. The gluten-free crust (as those who know GF crust would expect) is thin, but... More
I have always considered Pizza a fast food item...In this restaurant at San Francisco, CA we had to wait it out as it is a popular formal restaurant and was OK to go without reservation for lunch on a week end..the wait was worthwhile. Delicious pan pizza with the toppings of our choice, different kinds of bread on the side... More
Went to lunch with my son and as always had food. Such a great place for kids as well...When your done, the best shopping in CA is right outside the door.
My friend and I had an early dinner here, fiveish, after visiting a couple of art galleries on the Stanford University campus. She is gluten intolerant, so pizza was out of the question.. She assured me they had lots of other things to choose from.We were seated right away, the place was over half full. The service was excellent, our... More
