Il fornaio has been around for ever. The food is good not great and the gluten free menu quite extensive. A nice option altogether to go have a simple family dinner.

Great outdoor seating makes the Italian dining experience so much better. Wonderful service with a terrific selection of pastas, fresh fish and yummy desserts. The tiramisu was as good as it gets. Wonderful people watching with reservations a must.
Went to a business lunch and it was terrific. The butternut squash ravioli and outstanding and the chicken dish was very good. Service was amazing. Surprised we were not offered a dessert menu. Valet parking was available.
We had my daughter's baby shower ll Fornaio and we very pleased with how easy it was to arrange it and how helpful everyone was. Would certainly have another event there.
Wife and I had a wonderful dinner and drinks. Wait staff was professional and cordial, and only 2 blocks from the lovely Cowper Inn.
