I highly recommend this place, they roast their own coffee and it is great, you don't see this in area anymore after invasion of corporate coffee shops. Their breakfast is excellent with great pricing. If you are in the area don't miss it.

It is fantastic place for Coffee, Breakfast and lunch. I was surprised to see they roast their own coffee, you don't see this type of operation around these days. I look at the coffee been and they were all good and nicely roasted. I met the owner, his name is Kevin and nice guy. They make they own pastries their... More

Spacious cafe, with nice coffee and bakery. We only had coffee but the breakfasts omelette in a croissant looked good.

Parking is a bit of a problem but after that it's a delight. There is a full complement of coffee choices and desserts not to mention sandwiches. The staff is efficient, helpful and friendly.

Decided to try this place on Sat. morning instead of our usual Startbucks down the street. The menu looks extensive as they carry the usual items, as well as smoothies and juice bar (didn't get a chance to try though). Ordered mocha with lox omelette. Mocha was excellent, by far the best I have tried and WAY better than starbucks.... More

Palo Alto Cafe features a good variety of coffees roasted from light to dark on premises. Very nice flavor. They expanded from coffees and pastries to include smoothies, omelettes and sandwiches. They now bake some pastries on-premises. Great quality across the board and a pleasant coffee-house environment including some overstuffed chairs as well as seating inside and out.

Nothing against Starbucks, but you know... when in Rome... Visiting a good friend in Palo Alto, her aunt and I went out for a coffee and decided to bypass the Starbucks in favor of trying the Palo Alto Coffee House. Glad we did. The coffee options were just as good, the decor was more unique and the cafe more spacious.... More

The Palo Alto Cafe seems to have been around forever yet just one previous review onTA!! The PA Cafe is a great alternative to the chains and does a mean selection of coffees along with great scrambles. Good location to catch up on news with free newspapers or browsing using wifi. Also plenty of available parking.

A desperate hunt for a place that would serve bagels and lox after sunset (Yom Kippur, it all makes sense) ended in triumph and victory, here. They had several kinds of bagels and bagel sandwiches... I got a bagel and lox on a sesame bagel-- and granted, it was a little pricey, a little over $6, but so worth it,... More
