We've eaten at Purple Palm three or four times over the last two months, for breakfast or lunch. Each time we've found the food to be well-prepared and the service excellent. The ambiance is lovely, whether indoors or out. Overall this is just a reliable, nice place to have breakfast, brunch or lunch.

We really enjoyed our meal at the Purple Palm. The restaurant is very nicely decorated inside and the pool side patio is also very beautiful looking out at the neatly kept pool and the palm fringed verandas of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and overall the atmosphere is relaxed but chic and grown-up. The kind of... More

We visited Palm Springs a few weeks ago and though traveling with a young child, decided to try the Purple Palm for our finale dinner and 3rd birthday party for our grandson. I was a bit nervous as the place is wonderfully decorated and seemed a bit elegant for a 3 year old. It turned out that the amazing staff... More

We had a wonderful evening under the stars dining at Purple Palm. The food was delicious and the server was great! We wanted to take our time and have a drink, then ordered apps, then ordered dinner, then dessert and an after dinner drink. The timing on all the food was perfect we had a dinner over a two hour... Nice casual ambiance near the pool in the hotel, interesting wagyu beef dumplings, but kiwi on scallop sashimi not to my taste; sea bass and salmon entrees nicely done. Very good, but just misses being amazing.

I am always looking for ways to enjoy luxury on a budget. That's why I am a big fan of the prix fixe menu, Happy Hour/s and dining out for lunch instead of dinner. I did experienced the latter yesterday at the Purple Palm and it was a DE-LIGHT. Here's how it went down. We did not have reservations and... More

Hi Kelli- Thank you so much for your generous and thoughtful review of the Purple Palm. I love it when we hear such nice things from our locals. I shared this with Parker and he was thrilled to read it. Just FYI, our Sunset Hour menu and drink specials are available 7 days a week all year long. I look... More

Many tourists to Palm Springs don't know it, but you don't have to either eat an expensive meal OR stay the night at the Colony Palms to experience some of its friendly poshness. Why not grab your sunhat, flip flops and 'resort wear' beach attire (for over your suit as you walk in) and make your own little pool party?... More

We were staying at the Triada and chose this as it's only 1 block away. Loved, loved, loved the poolside setting for a candlelight dinner for two on Valentine's Day! Didn't realize though that it would be a fixed price 3-course menu, which was ok but not what we were expecting. Gnocchi was good, sea bass a bit dry, but... More

This was one of those Sunday's where my wife and I were craving a good brunch, but we wanted to go somewhere different than we normally go in Palm Springs. The town was hoping due to the very popular Modernism week here, so we anticipated a tough time finding a good spot. We had heard good things from friends about... More

In the small 1930's lux hotel Colony Palms that is on block from down town Palm Springs is a lovely small restaurant Purple Palm. We have been coming here for years because it is so calm, tasteful, quiet and ha amazing outdoor seating by the pool looking at the mountains. It is bliss.
