My wife and I decided, for our anniversary, to splurge on what we expected to be a top restaurant in Palm Springs. We were not disappointed. The outdoor patio was visually, spectacular. The prices, as expected, were high but the waiters were all friendly and...More

This was our second visit here. Only a pre-fix menu for the holiday but the food was wonderful and the staff excellent. A perfect night.

I believe you stepped into the wrong restaurant, but everybody can make a mistake, we are not a meat and potato place and as of the bill,I am quite certain you checked the prices on our website. So have a good life. P.B.

A lovely resturant for 40 years, with a classic menu, excellent meals and wines. Great service. Highly Recommended

It’s gorgeous. And even on a cold evening, there are enough heaters to make dining outside under fairy lights warm and magical. Service is attentive, and there’s an excellent wine list. I had high hopes for the food. Sadly, dinner proved to be uninspiring. I...More

That this old canard continues to receive rave reviews suggests that the loyal clientele is as old and out-of-touch as the menu. "Traditional" is all well and good--but only if the food is good. Here the florid descriptions and smothering sauces can't compensate for the...More

It is hard to beat the atmosphere, it takes a minute to realise you are sitting outside under trees. The service was good, with a very friendly staff. Bruce the sommelier was a real treat. Food was very good. Good wine list.

What a fab evening we had. The food was excellent, between us we had The House Smoked Salmon which was beautifully smokey, the lobster bisque which was rich and creamy. To follow the crispy duck which was large but really well cooked and the Sea...More

What a lovely evening. We realized we were sitting outdoors!!! The service was very good. You could choose a la carte or indulge in one of their set menus. From the chalkboard rolling menu you had plenty of great choices. Our table shared the lobster...More

Established in the heart of Palm Springs since 1973, Le Vallauris located at the foot of San Jacinto Mountains has been the highest rated restaurant in the Palm Springs Valley since its inception. Owned and operated by the well known restaurateur Paul Bruggemans who was also owner of the Famous Le St Germain restaurant in Hollywood. The Historic Landmark was built in 1927 and was owned by the owners of the famous Desert Inn which was The hotel in the Valley. Many grand parties were held in the house for guests such as Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and many more. It was a favorite place for General Patton when he was based in Palm Springs to stage the Battle of the Bulge during World War II. Later on, when the restaurant was established it became a favorite place for Presidents and the Hollywood elite. The renowned Patio lined with Giant Fichus trees is THE place to dine. The Patio is cooled in the Summer and heated in the Winter.
