We stopped by while walking on El Paseo. We shared the veggie fajitas and the dish was one of the best we've ever had. Though it was busy our waiter was attentive. We will make it a point to visit again next time we're in town.

You get a lot of food for the price. I had the fish tacos and they were very good. I saw several people ordering the guacamole and it looked really good, I think I will try that next time. The service was probably the best I have had in a Mexican grill restaurant. I will go back.

Lunch at the famous Armando's was disappointing only because we kept hearing about how good it is. It turned out to be a solid, average Mexican eatery. The beer was cold, the frozen margaritas were colder and the chips were warm and plentiful. Our food was tasty but neither inspiring nor disappointing. One of our party asked for no chips... More

I went with my daughter at the recommendation of a local. Great selection of tequila. I had tortilla soup. Excellent. And there amigos tacos. The steak taco and chicken taco were the best I'd ever eaten. The carnitas taco was too dry. The fresh salsa was bright and tasty. Service was perfect. Loved it. Thanks.

This is our favorite place to visit in El Paseo. We love to sit at the bar and people watch. The margaritas are outstanding - if a bit strong. Don't worry, the bartender will give you some extra margarita mix. We've always shared the chicken quesadillas and love them. Enjoy!

We had dinner with three adults and 2 children at this very busy restaurant. The service was unusually slow and unsatisfactory. I was told that this was one of the best restaurants in town but our experience was mediocre at best. Took 20 minutes just to get our drink order and then it came in fits and starts with the... The food was absolutely delicious. Service was great and very reasonably priced. Make sure you make a reservation.

We came here twice on our recent trip to Palm Desert, once for lunch and once for dinner. With 5 of us (2 adults, 3 teenage boys) they still managed to fit us in without a reservation both times (had to wait for dinner) but I recommend making a reservation, especially for dinner. I had fish tacos for lunch, they... More

This is a very busy Mexican restaurant. They have very strong Margaritas, but tasty. You get spicy complimentary salsa and warm chips. My only complaint is when we ordered the fajitas (chicken), we asked for no green peppers and it came to the table with just onions and big chunks of chicken. It should have come with red peppers and... More

The patio is a beautiful place to sit and watch people and eat. The food is typical mexican that was not out of the ordinary. Parking can be an issue.
