The Olema Farm House supports organic farming and sustainable practices whenever possible. The seasonally changing menu is supplemented with daily specials. We were staying at the Point Reyes Seaside Lodge next door and walked over to the restaurant. I had the Halibut which was terrific. My wife had crab cakes & crab salad. The server was very attentive. Just a... More

We have stopped in at the Olema Farm House many times over the years and always enjoyed the charm of this small bar and restaurant in Olema frequented by many locals in the area. Unfortunately, now with new management, chef and owners, I assume, the place is now a "spiffy" tourist stop with much of the atmosphere that made it... More

My husband and I both had seafood and our meals were delicious. Service was fast and friendly. House wine was very nice. Bread was also delicious.

We entered through a rustic bar area into the back dining room and were promptly seated. They have a small wine list but excellent choices. We chose the Meomi Pinot Noir and a selection of small plates including Clam Chowder, cheese board, dungeness crab and trout flatbread. Each plate was better than the previous one. The meal was completed with... More

Great little find. The smoked trout flatbread was delicious. We also ordered some BBQ oysters which were fine, but not very big. The service was great. Just as we were about to leave, the chef came out asking if we wanted to try a black bean dip he was testing out. Well, we couldn't pass up the offer. It was... More

I loved this place and we ate here several times over a long weekend in Olema for a wedding. It's really authentic with excellent service. I thought the crab cakes were wonderful and the arugula salad was truly fresh. We had the BBQ oysters a few times and they too were excellent, but could probably do with a bit less... More

On our first trip up Highway One North of San Francisco, we spent time in the Point Reyes National Seashore area. We really enjoyed two excellent meals at the Olema Farmhouse. The first was a wonderful serving of salmon from Bodega bay. The salmon was cooked to perfection with a crisp skin and delicately flavoured flesh. The accompanying creamed corn... More

On our Tuesday road trip we planned to lunch here but we had to take some time at the ranger station up the road because Farm House opened at 11:30 AM for lunch. The front doors were still locked when we arrived a little after 11:30 and was opened by the host with a great welcome and humor. We sat... More

We have stopped in here several times on day trips and it has always been a delightful meal. In the bar area there are various sports games and enthusiastic locals getting their 'cheer' on for their teams also interior and exterior dinning. The locally sourced on-tap mircro-brews are always delicious and the bar tender can always recommend a great companion... More

My wife and I were travelling up Hwy 1, eventually going to the wine country, and we stopped to eat in Olema at the Farm House restaurant. We were really pleasantly surprised. They have a nice deck in the back and since the weather was beautiful it was great to sit outside. The Asian waitress was very helpful and friendly... More
