Very nice restaurant on the main drag in Ojai. Had a wonderful dark beer and lamb pita which was very good. My wife had wine and shrimp taco both also very good. Servers very friendly and continually brought me samples of all of their craft...More
I really thought I'd love Azu. But I didn't entirely. The good: The shrimp was great, the chorizo stuffed/bacon wrapped dates were perfect and the crispy calamari was on point. The sangria was cool and refreshing and not too sweet like it often is. The...More
The food was mediocre, but acceptable (if overpriced). The service was perfunctory, but good enough (if a bit slow). The real problem here - and it was a huge problem - was the attitude of the manager: I won't get into a long, drawn out...More

The bar at this restaurant is attractive and inviting. We often go in around 5 and have cocktails and tapas. The small plates are satisfying and it provides an opportunity to interact with other guests. The food is really very good
Loved this restaurant and their staff was excellent. Had an amazing chicken salad with the best dressing (lime) I have ever had in a restaurant. They have a great selection of beer (we had a free tasting of 5 of their beers), wine and cocktails.
We shared olives, calamari, and stuffed piquillo peppers and then each had the chicken and lamb mezze, respectively. A great dinner.
