From the outside you wouldn’t know what a great little cafe this was. Louisiana inspired waffles and southern fried chicken were fantastic. Not much else nearby but a different experience and worth a look.

This place was recommended to us and did not disappoint. The waffles were absolutely delicious! My husband had the “All the Above” and throughly enjoyed everything especially the potatoes. Will definitely come back again when I’m in the area!

The food is incredible - I did not know waffles could be this good (light, fluffy and yet crispy and crunchy all at the same time). On top of the incredible, perfectly cooked food the service and atmosphere are absolutely lovely. We went everyday for...More

We got up early to make it for the 7:00am opening. I found parking and we were some of the first customers. I enjoyed my grits and eggs. The food was plentiful, flavorful and fresh. I'll have to return for lunch and dinner.

Delicious eggs and waffles and fried chicken and everything you want for brunch. Packed, even mid-morning on a school day.

Food quite salty, portions have shrunk, service still prompt. Not my breakfast preference anymore, especially given that prices are not budget friendly.

The headline item was chicken and waffle and was indeed very good. Corn-meal waffle. The gumbo had Okra without being gummy; peppery and filling. Black-eye peas excellent. Service slow - but that's the bay area.

I don't really understand the whole chicken and waffle combo, chicken for breakfast doesn't sound good to me. But after saying that, my boyfriend had the chicken and waffles. I tasted the waffle and it was light and fluffy and didn't taste heavy the way...More
