We stopped here on our way back from Yosemite and really wanted a quick, warm bite to eat. This unpretentious place is unpretentious, but fine for what we needed. I got ramen which was not much more than broth, noodles and some sprouts, while my husband got bulgogi (not very Japanese?). Unfortunately my fork was dirty and I had to... More

Very casual japanese restaurant. Skip the sushi, overprized and not so well prepared. The rice was of strange quality and selection limited. Go for the recommendations or cooked dishes.

Didnt find this herer on TA, but stayed in an Hotel closeby, so we decided to give it a try. Not expecting very much, this was actually very good japanese food we havent thought to find in such a small town. Warm dishes we had were very good, decent Miso soup, with the Sushi's being a small downside. Had better... More

The food is good but the hospitality is outstanding. Husband & wife run offering both Japanese & Korean flavors. The food does not disappoint & Asian food is not abundant in this rural area. I come here every year when I visit & the wife remembers me. Now that's homecoming with hospitality.

I doubt you've ever had worst sushi than this place, really. The rice wasn't even sushi rice...it was jasmine white rice with no rice vinegar added. The rolls could have been rolled by 2 year olds. Actually a 2 year old could have done better. And the presentation was non existent. Sorry people it was bad. Do yourself a favor... More

The wife and I were passing through this town and decided to stop here for lunch on a Saturday. Since this is town is on the Southern gateway to Yosemite, it seems that more than half of the restaurant participants were from out of town, so I expect that the taste and reviews of people will vary greatly. We saw... More

The food was as authentic as it could be. We never thought we could find sushi around in Yosemite. The owner was very friendly and the food was excellent. Definitely recommended!

Food was so-so. Nothing to write home about. Flavor was mediocre but service was good and people running the place were great, very nice.

Good authentic Japanese food prepared by Japanese couple; they mixed up our order initially as we wanted meat-free fried rice for our daughter; this was corrected wonderfully. Arigato

The restaurant was very average. Food quality and taste, service, price, value. It was okay if you are in the mood for Japanese food. Tempura plum ice cream was our best dish. The chicken the worse. Everything else was okay to good. Rice was good which is important to me when I go to a Japanese restaurant.

Thank Chris T
