I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid and it has been through many changes over the years. The one thing that has been consistent is how inconsistent it is. One visit will be good service and good food and the next will be poor service and average food. We come here about 4 or 5... More

This is the best seafood place in Orange County, and it's in an actual cannery! There aren't too many historic buildings in the county, but this is one of them. How cool to be able to enjoy a fine meal in it (and see the water, as well). A memorable experience.

We were not starving so my sister and I stumbled on this place and split the fish taco's. We were delighted to discover the wealth of baseball history and the actual cannery building history too. The inside has wonderful glass sculptures of jellyfish and sea creatures. We sat outside and enjoyed the marvelous view of the harbor. Weather was terrific,... More

OMG, the food, the service, the drinks: all amazing. Fish was tender and flavorful, appetizer and dessert special should not be passed up. I recommend ordering different dishes and pass around for delighting the taste buds.

Wonderful lunch by the water. So glad we found this spot. Great salads, and half price wine list during the week at lunch. Good service, too. Highly recommend.

A great place to have a romantic evening or meet with friends. Food is delicious. Key Lime pie was one of the best I'd had.

Near by for business for a few days and this was recommended for dinner. My friend and I were elated with most everything. The atmosphere is phenomenal, inside and out. Rustic, elegant and artsy all in one. I am going to tell it as our night occurred but want to point out the experience in the beginning would not keep... More

On holiday with my kids and one of our last nights we went to the Cannery. We all liked it a lot. The ambiance of the place is perfect and so is the service. I had the clam chowder to start which was excellent and then I had the black cod with crispy sweetbreads. The wine list is good as... More

Our group had a variety of dishes to choose from. The bouillabaisse was what I ordered, and it was good. I preferred the short rib someone else from our group ordered, but was still very satisfied. One way you can tell a great restaurant from a good one is by the types of sides they offer with the mains. In... More

We enjoyed a light lunch with a great bottle of Patz & Hall wine. Two out of the three of us enjoyed oysters prepared 2 ways. We had salads & 1 order of fish tacos. I wouldn't hurry back but it was a nice experience.
